Since its birth May 2001, the Avalon Wellness
Centre has been an enthusiastic member of the
local community. It is a priority for us to contribute
to the community that we live and work in. This
support has taken many forms.
Avalon has supported fundraisers with gift certificates,
wellness kits, and complimentary treatments. Guest
speaking at community agencies, high school and
college classrooms, rotary clubs, church groups,
sororities, senior's groups, women's groups, and
wellness events. We have sponsored participants
in fundraising events such as Cops
for Cancer, and the M.S.
Walk. You will usually find us in
local wellness events such as the R.V.H. Take
a Day for Women's Health, Hospice
Simcoe's Diva For a Day,
Simcoe Women's Wellness Centre's
Uniting Simcoe Women for Wellness,
Simcoe County's Workplace
Wellness Committee, and The
Wellness Expo. 
We have recently had
the exciting challenge of participating in the
Dragon Boat Race and
sponsoring a community agency and plan to repeat
this experience in the future.
